Othdabere Fresh Start Foundation Spreads Love at Care Home Orphanage on Valentine’s Day

On Valentine’s Day, a day dedicated to love and kindness, Othdabere Fresh Start Foundation extended a hand of love to the children at Care Home Orphanage in Kwabenya, Accra, Ghana. Our visit was a heartwarming experience filled with joy, hope, and compassion as we sought to make the day special for the little ones.

With a team of three dedicated volunteers Bro. Christopher, Mad. Nancy and sis mary led by our foundation manager, Bro Maxwell, we arrived at the orphanage bearing gift packages for the children. The items included essential stationery, delicious snacks, chocolates, and other goodies meant to brighten their day. Seeing the excitement and smiles on their faces as they received the gifts was truly priceless.

Beyond the donations, we spent quality time with the children, engaging with them in meaningful conversations and sharing words of encouragement. We also gathered together in prayer, lifting them up before God and reminding them of His unfailing love. The day was not just about giving material gifts but also about sharing the love of Christ and bringing a message of hope and belonging.

As a foundation committed to supporting underprivileged children and families, we believe that every act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a significant impact. Our Valentine’s Day outreach at Care Home Orphanage reaffirmed our mission to spread love and provide support to those in need.
