OTHDABERE Counselling & Therapy Services
With Dorothy Osei-Kesse — BACP-registered counsellor
"People are not interested in how much you know, until they know how much you care. My approach is to create a confidential and safe space in which clients can explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviours — as well as their own history — without judgement. The aim is to gain a greater sense of self-awareness and achieve more independence and choice in everyday life."
Credentials
Qualified therapeutic counsellor and member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), based in London, UK. The BACP Ethical Framework underpins this practice, drawing on approaches from different therapy types tailored to each client's needs.
Who I Help
I work with individuals and couples at a challenging point in their lives due to past or present circumstances — supporting people through anxiety, depression, sadness, panic attacks, low self-esteem, relationship issues, loss and bereavement, bullying, anger, conflict, phobias, betrayal, divorce, trauma, OCD, PTSD, and career or lifestyle changes toward work-life balance.
My Approach
I value building a sound, trusting therapeutic relationship — a safe, comfortable space to share issues that are difficult to address elsewhere, always in confidence. We work collaboratively so therapy is bespoke to your specific needs, empowering you with skills and techniques.
Where I Work
Face-to-face, and — since Covid — online via Zoom, phone, or WhatsApp, daytime, evenings, and weekends. Local to the UK, USA, Canada, Ghana, and many more countries.
